I have a saab 95 v6 se 2001. in recent weeks, the car would stop at a stop sign and could not move. after I cooled it down and it can restart and work

however, this week, it stop I was driving and the check engine light is one. I wonder if there is an engine problem;oops:

I had a similiar thing happen. It turned out to be the Crankshaft Position Sensor. Have your mechanic pull the codes and that should direct him in the right direction.


BTW, have Saab run your VIN to see if your DIC (Direct Ignition Cart.'s) fall under the recall. Check to see if the fuel pump recall has also been addressed.
