Hello, i have a 97 Saab 9000 2.0 Turbo that suddenly shut down under driving.
I Have checked all wiring in the engine bay and wiring to the relay/fusebox.
The engine runs when spraying starting fluid in the throttle body.
Everything seems fine except that it has no injector pulse at the injectorplugs, the constant voltage at the injectorplugs good.
I have checked all fuses and relays too.
The ecu hets power and the fuelpump primes and runs when cranking.
Fuelpressure at the fuelrail is good.

Thanks

When i checked with the workshop obd scanner i got the 1641 code witch said «Immobilizer VSS/SWITCH».
Tried to program the key to the CAR again but it didnt change anything. So the problem is probably the immobilizer wont turn off at all, or it acts soo.

Saw this on Saab Scene:

To reset the alarm remove the alarm fuse (fuse # 19 for MY 1994 – 1998) and put it back in. Make sure the interior light switch is in position # 1 and the open the driver's door and then close it. Then turn the driver's door lock to the left 3 consecutive times quickly and then to the right one time to lock the doors. Then watch the interior light under the rear view mirror and 10 seconds after the interior light goes out the alarm light in the speaker grille will begin to blink.

IDK whether it will reset the immobilizer function of the VSS or not.
