I have a Saab 900 1998 2.0 t Talladega Convertible. I have the code for the radio but the will not let enter anything it is as if it is locked.

Any ideas?

try holding down the BAND button until "CODE IN" appears on the SID

If you tried to guess the code more than a couple of times the unit will lock, and pushing/ holding the Band button don't work. You will need to start the car and let it run for an hour and the code-in will reset so you can enter the correct code.

Is there a button i need to press after entering the code? I do not have the manual for the car.

happened to me

disconnect and then reconnect the battery
it should allow you to input your code

No buttons are required to be pushed just enter the correct code and the radio will unlock and accept tuning.
