Saab 900 1996 Immobilisor??

Hi there can anyone tell me if my 1996 Saab 900 is fitted with an engine immobilisor - I know it doesnt have an alarm system but I wondered if it still had the immbilisor that kicks in when you take the keys out of the ignition ?

anyone know?

even if it doesn't have a remote, it might still have an alarm. but i think without an alarm there is no immobilizer. could easily be wrong though
