I went out to dinner with my gf, key/fob was working great - locked my doors, set the alarm and went inside....Came out after a delicious dinner and the keyless no longer worked.

I've had no software updates and the car battery is good. I have replaced the keyless remote battery and it still isn't working. After I replaced the keyless remote battery, there has been a SID message saying the remote battery is low and needs to be replaced?

Any ideas on what the issue could be?

Thanks for your help!

Try replacing the battery again with a good quality battery; I used a cheap auto part store battery, and had the same problem. Also, put the key in the ICM, turn it to on, and leave it for 30 seconds. Sometimes the car needs to re-marry the key.

Hope that works!

Sorry I am ignorant. What do you mean stick the key in the ICM (ignition control module)? That's under the hood not the ignition?

to re-sync the key to the car put the fob in the ism for 10 secs without turning it..

the icm is the control panel in the dash which does your radio,cd etc..
