Something I just thought of though...
If I remove my AMP 1 (because it's draining my battery) how will I get the low bass output from the AMP 1?

How are you getting it now for your sub?

I spliced into the rear speakers... Now that I think of it I probably have never been getting a true bass signal since my AMP 1 has always been dead. I mean the sub Will still put out alot of bass but always sounded a little "off" so that does make sense... Ugh, I guess I am stuck into buying a new amp 1. For now I will just take the amp 1 out and install my new setup and buy a new amp 1 when I have the extra cash.

Ok so I would need the LC2i audiocontrol to restore the bass output. Whats the best way to go about removing my AMP 1 so it wont drain my battery without losing the chimes and such?

You can destroy it like this guy did and then plug the remains back into the car under the seat.

OR, you could just snip the power wire to the amp before the harness. Make sure you wrap it up in some electrical tape or something.

Just to be clear I was referring to this post. The first one will bypass but won't solve the power drain.

Ok thank you. So I'm trying to take out the amp 1 and it will not disconnect from the wiring harness.... It's really stuck, the harness will not even wiggle out of the amp.
