been out working on the car a bit today and noticed the rubber door seals are beginning to look a bit dry and cracked. Anyone got any old wives tales for bringing these back to life, as it were. When i had my c900 someone on that forum suggested putting the door seals in the washing machine (or was it the dishwasher!) to plump them back up!

Silicone spray suitable for rubber will help. There is a space age stuff called 303 available in North America which I can recommend.

Using a washing machine would be pointless. I renewed the seals on my 86 with good results. The later cars have more durable seals.
