I picked up a set of Saab roof rack off eBay. It didn't come with any locks at the rack end-caps (I am not sure what you call them but they are the black plastic caps at the end of the track, there is 2 on each track so I need 4). Was wondering if anyone here knows if the Thule lock cores fit? If so, could someone advise part/model number of the lock cores please. Which other types/brand of lock cores will fit?

I bought mine from State of Nine, they are just Thule lock cores (Saab's racks are made for them by Thule). I bought a set of 6 when I ordered mine, but it doesn't look like they offer anything besides 4 for $38 http://www.stateofnine.com/page/stateofnine/PROD/ROOFRACK/LockCylinders but it looks like Amazon is a better buy now.

4 Pack ($36.90): http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0001HABTC/sr=1-3/qid=1127397218/ref=sr_1_3/103-6963315-6670231?%5Fencoding=UTF8&n=3375301&s=sporting-goods&v=glance

6 Pack ($49.50):

If you plan on putting a ski carrier on top anytime in the future the 6 pack will let you lock all caps on the rack and the carrier.

lock set for factory saab C Track roof bars. not sure why you'd need them, though - anyone who's looking for a "free" saab roof rack can just take the entire thing off by un-screwing the four screws that tie the rack to the roof - all you need is a regualr screwdriver (not sure what it's called in english)

here it is anyway: i bought them along with the rack and will be returning them. http://www.saabcatalog.com/retail/category.asp?catalog%5Fname=Saab+Catalog&category%5Fname=Drive9395%3AC%2DTrack+Roof+Bars&Page=1

P.S. i got to thinking about locking the bars to the roof. has anybody actually done that? is there a locking set or something? i couldn't find it anywhere ...
