How much dismantling do I need to do to replace the centre bushings/mountings on the anti roll bar? I intend replacing the drop links also but I am wondering is there enough clearance to get the back bolt out on the mounts without the need to drop the sub frame? Hoping for a quick fix! Thanks!

It can be done without dropping the subframe

you need a small ring spanner with an angled head to get to the back bolt (from under the car)

good luck!

Thanks

Cheers, thanks for the reply, just from looking at it I wasnt sure if the bolt would rise high enough for me to get the rubber out. Thanks for the info.

should be fine, if I remember I didn't remove the clamp and bolts all the way... just enough to push the bush out from underneath

you might be doing this anyway but use plenty of silicone grease on refitting - both on the anti roll bar and bushes/clamp

will keep you squeek and creak free for a couple of years at least!
