Hi so this the third time I’ve had to remove the airbag / steering wheel / clock spring etc on my 92 turbo vert - the lock ring seems to keep slipping up over time and doing no kind of locking at all - I was told that that I fit it with the flanges facing down - can someone confirm if this is right ? Can’t work out what is happening - when I put the bushing on and for the lock ring it is very firmly in place but overtime it slips up the shaft allowing the bushing to come out - any advice please
