Thank you for the suggestion but my question is regarding a sunroof not a convertible. I check many service books, but there isnt that information available.
Nest week I will take the car to a classic specialist to retrofit an OEM sunroof. I need to ask on favour. Does anyone to have a sunroof car take this messurements to me.
1. From the edge of the windshield rubber to the edge of the hole for the sunroof
2 From the edge of the windshield rubber to the folded edge of the shape that has the roof panel close to the edge of the hole. (see attached pic)

I just purchased a 1983 Saab 900 S and the CIS has to be rebuilt is this an easy project? I saw the parts looks like there are many washers and o rings etc.
The rear hatch window on my 92 900 T has been leaking pretty bad for years so I called around to get it replaced and as expected it's not available. The guy at the glass shop said it's possible that they could remove it and reinstall it but he said it's risky because the glass sometimes...
I`ve always fitted the OE bulbs. I saw an article in a magazine suggesting LED upgrade and have now seen articles suggesting these are likely to fail MOT as you have to fit Halogens. There seem to be conflicting views on this. I also see "uprated" Halogens are available but suggestions these...
O K I did it I broke the socket for the dash/instrument light, the little black one. \
I have read a lot about people putting in LEDs and then frying the foil and other things.... I don't want to do that.
Esaab parts says the socket is not available so does anyone know the type of socket...
Hello I have a 1983 Saab 900s with a 8valve motor and a manual 5 speed transmission G 45706. I have a lockout on second gear ( probably a bad synchro) so I bought a used GM 55602 transmission.
What will I have to do to get this GM 55602 to mount up. Already I noticed a different motor mount...
