Good evening friends! Has anyone had any exhaust work done in northern New Jersey (Bergen County)? I have only lived in the area since July of last year ad am not too familiar with the small businesses around here. Anyway, I am looking into buying a 3" down pipe and would like to have an exhaust made from the down pipe back in the near future, or at least have a cat-back system made for the time being. I've done a few google searches and found KC Kustom up in Ramsey, but thats about it. Thanks in advance!!!

Welcome to the neighborhood! I live in Bergen County as well. Unfortunately, there isn't much by way of custom exhaust around here. For my Camaro, I went to Mufflex in Trenton, NJ. It's a hike, but they mandrel bend. Last I heard, KC's doesn't mandrel bend which is pretty tragic for a turbo car.

I recently came across a BMW race shop in Clifton, NJ (maybe 10-15 from Moonachie) called C2 Race Development. Oddly enough, I found them while perusing an instagram tag. They do some exhaust work so I would contact them and see if they can help. Truth be told, I was planning on having KC's redo my exhaust on my Camaro but I think I might check out C2 Race Development first when the time comes. http://www.c2racedevelopment.com/

Hope that helps, and message me if you need anymore local help. FYI, there's a Saab specialist in Bergen County by the name of Swedish Connection and a Saab dealer not too far up Route 17 from Moonachie.

Thanks for the info! C2 looks like a decent place. There is another Saab guy in Montclair called Hoofmans. The guy that answered the phone was an ******* though lol

Hahaha in that case I suppose you should stay away from that shop. Can you please let me know where you end up going? I'm going to need a shop eventually and I appreciate feedback.

Sorry to hear about your car . Unfortunately I don't quite have that kind of cash at the moment. Would you be willing to part ways with pieces at a time though? i.e. sell the dp separately?

Basically someone pulled out in front of me within ten feet and no way could I have even stopped, front of the car was damaged, once insurance declares it a loss I will put up the exhaust, it has all the clamps and everything even some of the rubber mounts lol I put 100 miles on it since install of that and new clutch.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that, man. Keep me in mind, if you no longer have use of it!
