I managed to scrape up the side view mirror on my fiacee's 2004 9-3. I have the replacement outer shell (the colored part that faces forward). It is not obvious to me how to remove the old one and put the new part on. Can anyone provide me with information on how to remove and replace this piece?

I just got mine fixed and the idiots at the dealer mangled the matt black plastic surround - looks like they tried to pry it off with a screwdriver - so its going straight back till theyget it right (moral to this story is...dont use a screwdriver :evil: )
