Has anyone ever tried to remove and replace just the lower ball joint from the control arm, I have a full poly kit for the other three locations in the lower control arm assembly and it feels wrong to throw the whole lower control arm out for just a ball joint.

They are not replaceable, so it would be difficult to replace one.

Yeah it feels wrong but unfortunately this is the only choice you have. The ball joint and the arm is in one unit, so if your ball joint is dead you have to replace the whole arm.
