I own a 1999 Saab 9-5. It still has the original (I believe original I bought used) Yokohama tires on them. I need to get new tires and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a certain brand/type. I live in the city and the tires are constantly going over bumps and potholes.

Thanks,
Caitlin

Thats a tough question to answer. First off, I doubt your tires are original. Typically the tires on 9-5s last between 20-40K, which of course depends on how you drive.

I recently bought a set of Bridgestone Potenza 960AS, which I love, very good wear, performance, and grip. Rated all-weather. Since there will be a bunch of people suggesting options, I say just go to www.tirerack.com, input your car and select best sellers and read reviews. I researched quite a but and ended up with the Bridgestones. I had Toyo Proxes FZ4's, which didn't last for crap.
