I had the brake booster replaced on my 1999 Saab 9-5 4CYL Wagon. Now I have a a very slow engine oil leak coming from somewhere up high in the engine. With the car on ramps and looking from underneath, the leak appears to be dripping down the engine right next to the starter.

Could this be related to the booster replacement?

Thanks

Probably not related to the brake booster.

I think it is the oil pressure sensor/sender. It's hard to see, located right above the starter and can develop a leak, but only when the engine is running. I snaked a worklight above the starter and could see it was coming from that area.

There's always a wet drip on the drain bolt, but never on the garage floor. Mine doesn't lose much oil (yet), so I have not changed it. It's a $12 part so I bought a replacement but just annoying to reach to it's not in yet.

I also had finger-loose valve cover bolts so was weeping a bit from that area.

Let us know what you find.
