So as the title shows, the diodes in my alternator are out. so I thought It would be a good idea to try and take out the alternator and replace it. Yeah no. The alternator as we all know is so poorly placed
I got frustrated with trying to pull the alternator, I made no progress.
Even if I did remove the alternator, I would have to spend a good 270 bucks for a replacement one, NO THANKS
I thought maybe I could replace just the diodes, is it possible to do that without removing the alternator in it self from the car, maybe I could pull some from a junk yard car and pray they are good?
I don't know, but I barely have any money to keep this thing alive, and I don't have the money to send it to the shop, I have to figure something out.
thanks!
