Does anyone on this forum know how to repair scratches on a wheel rim? I have seen a few sites that give some instruction on how to do it, but none tell what paint will match the saab wheels.

Has anyone had an experience repairing scratches in their rims and does anyone know of a paint tha matches the saab rims well?

Thanks a lot everybody!

Are the scratches large or small? Do you have a picture? I know that eEuroparts.com used to sell paint to match the OEM Saab wheels for older Saabs. I am not sure if they have changed paint colors in newer models

Would love to see a picture of that Expresso Black Aero! I have never seen one and I absolutely love that color.

Hey,

The scratch is about half the size of a dime, I would post a picture of it but my camera's battery is dead and I have misplaced the charger.

As for the picture of my car, I don't have a good one I can post, but I will look for my charger more tonight and try to post one tomorrow.

The color is really hard to take an accurate picture of because it changes depending on the light situation. Sometimes it looks grey, sometimes it looks black, sometimes it looks bronze, and sometimes it looks almost blue. It is a very unique color which is why I like it.

Thanks for your post,

Does anyone know if that paint recommended above matches the new wheels? My car is a 2004 aero.

Thanks!

www.audiworld.com has some great write-ups (wish there were more saab ones). one thing i'd suggest as you will have difficulty matching the finish on the stock wheels would be to repaint both wheels on that side of the car. can't see both sides at the same time and the finish will be close enough that one would not notice going side to side.

Handsome car

Excellent photos
But with such a handsome looking car you cant go wrong.
She is beautiful.
Forget about painting the two wheels just go for re-touch kit of a similar color.
