Hey guys!

I want to remove the console so I can replace the central lock button light bulb, but my SAAB has the new style console and the old instructions available on the web don't seem to mention the best way to remove this new style console.

I can take the back of it but the front side where the cigarette lighter is seems to be more difficult and I don't want to break anything....

Sorry but by Central locking bulb do you mean a little indication light thats on when its locked/unlocked?

If so why replace it ? Just my views...

no, I mean the light bulb to that button you can see on the above photo on the bottom left lower corner - the central lock button.

There are 2 screws behind the little cubby insert. Remove that first (it's secured by a few clips) and you can access the screws.
