At the very back of the console there's either an flip out ash tray or a cover. Behind there are a pair of bolts that secure the back of the console.

The surround for the ignition switch is a slight turn and lift and the the panel between the window switches and shifter pops out.

One additional screw and the back of the console lifts out. Be gentle getting the wire connector off the switch pack.

After that, there are a pair of nylon rivets above the a/c control panel that will free the front section of the console from the dash. Pop the control panel out of the dash and the rivets are just inboard and above the opening.

The rivets are the pop the center in a bit to free the claws type.
