To repair a problem with my seat buckle, to which i need to remove the front seat a few times, i now have my Air Bag light on. I re-checked the wiring and connectors, all looks good. The Air Bag light is still on.

My car is a 1999 9-3 vert, which i understand might be different then the earlier models.

Any ideas if this was a false trip of the SRS system and will it reset itself?

Just in case anyone missed it, i'm pissed.
Thanks
Jim

If you didn't disconnect the battery before you started, you're going to get an SRS alarm. The good thing is that on the '99 and later cars, the SRS alarm will go away after so many (many 20-40) starts with no SRS errors detected... Ron

Yep, didnt disconnect the battery. Who would thought this would have been a problem.

I have my fingers crossed that it will go out in a week or two.
Thanks

It took about a week and the Airbag light finally went out. Though i think it might be a mileage trigger not so much how many starts.
Thanks
