I'll be removing the RRFPR on my 01 aero and want to know if I should release the pressure from the pump to the RRFPR before starting the removal. The old FPR is still in place and only needs to have the vac line connected.

Basically I think I'm pulling the output from the RRFPR and hooking the line from the pump directly onto the rail. Does this sound right?

If I must release the pressure what is the best way? Pull the fuse and run the car dry?

Liam :)

Pull fuse 19 with engine running, and wait for engine to stall.
This will cut fuel pump and completely remove any pressure from the line ;)

There wont be a problem with pressure, it is some what released when the car has been off for a while. Just use a rag around the pressure regulator when you remove it. Have done it myself so this is not "i think you can do this" post.
