Wow, they have a lot of those data panels! It's interesting to compare Saabs to other vehicles :)

http://www.roadandtrack.com/article.asp?section_id=29&article_id=2001&page_number=1

(check out last year's data panels link... so much info, yay!)

Here is an interesting fact:
2006 BMW 330i vs 2003 9-3 Vector
Interior Noise

BMW:
Idle in Neutral - 53 dBA
Max in first - 86 dBA
constant @ 50mph - 74 dBA
constant @ 70mph - 74 dBA

Vector:
Idle in Neutral - 46 dBA
Max in first - 76 dBA
constant @ 50mph - 69 dBA
constant @ 70mph - 70 dBA

Vector is quieter inside in all conditions! Also, identical breaking distances for two cars - 116 ft and 209 ft. Very comparable quarter mile times (14.9 @ 94.1mph vs 15.6 @ 90.9 mph). 60 mph to 80 mph - 4.4 secs for 330i, 4.2 secs for Vector. Having to shift right before 60mph and right before 90mph apperently hurts Vector's hard numbers for 0-60 and 0-90 times.

I wonder if the 5 speed wouldn't be faster to 60. I think my auto when in manual hits 60 in second gear. Haven't red lined it in a long time though.

Here we see the differences of the US Vector and European Vector in 2003.

The US is in fact labled Aero in Europe. 210 bhp as opposed to 175 bhp and the bigger disks. The 2 other BIG differences. US price is 20 % less than France and you get a 4 year warranty where as here only 2.. That is a BIG difference.
Interesting find thank you.
