Mike the only time you would need to change to reds is if you upgrade your ecu. You wont get any benefit if you just change them..dicreamio said:Yeah.. Ive just checked and I have got the green ones which is not a bad thing in itself as I know I have some room for improvement and some extra poke to gain by going with the red ones.
Thanks lads..
Michael
It certainly cant do any harm, you may even notice an improvement with high rev acceleration. You would also be ready for any stage 2 mods like exhaust or induction kit.:cheesy:dicreamio said:Yep Finn, I realise thatmy car is running on stage 1 BSR (PPC) so I should be ok right?.

A very sensible approach, of course you will be willing things to break soon so that you can replace them with performance parts :cheesy: I'm just too damned impatient ;oops: If theres room on the card then it must be time for shopping :cheesy:dicreamio said:The plan is to do all the major upgrades when things give way like exhausts brakes etc... that way it works out cheaper and more cost effective. Yes all the 2.3 eco's have the red injectors as standard, it was only the 2.0ltrs that had the green injectors.saabnc said:Im not in a situation to look right now being at work... Does the 99 2.3 have red injectors? If not, how much do they cost and where can I buy them as I am getting my PPC next week (hopefully if they ship it right this time ;oops: )
Just looked: Anybody else who is wondering, 1999 2.3 has RED injectors, good news!! :cheesy:saabnc said:Im not in a situation to look right now being at work... Does the 99 2.3 have red injectors?
