the general consensus seems for a normal type daily driven 9-5, to be the akebono euro ceramic pads. They stop well (not great) and make basically NO dust, which is a great thing if you like clean wheels. There are other pads that offer more bite, but if you're not driving hard and seeing any autocross action or track days, the akebono's are great!

...many thanks.

cool thanks. ;ol; most of my driving is done on the interstate as my work & home are each only a minute from thier exits. however like anyone else, i do my share of occassional stop n go driving, but even still i'm not in a heavy populated city where i'm constantly on my brakes. :)

Norm already gave you my opinon

Clean wheels and OK stopping power = Akebono Euro Ceramic

Fantastic stopping power but need 500 mile wheel cleanings = Mintex Red Box

The Red Box pads were actually less dirty than the factory pads on my 2000.

The right brake pad depends on your needs and desires.
