Hello having problems with my rec switch.
The flap won't close off the outside air.
The actuator is working proved it by apply vacuum. So problem is else where.
I found a small device with a few rubber pipes going into it on the lower drivers side arch. Then goes to a small red button beside it.
Is this anything to do with the rec switch?
Any help would be app.
I have proved the switch on the dash works as well so I don't want to rip apart the car......

The thing you are looking for is on the passenger side of the car. It's a small metal cube with a couple wires and a couple vacuum hoses. Depending on the year of your car, it could be inside above the passenger's footwell, or it could be outside near the power steering fluid reservoir.

Thanks found it 2 hoses were off. Also the switches were not good so opened them up cleaned them and now working. I have the dash to put back tomorrow haha.
On the AC side. It will only operate with the low pressure switch linked out.
Cooling is poor I might get a recharge kit.
The AC fan comes on with the AC compressor, however I can see the clutch slip sometimes. I am worried it's bc of to much pressure and something is going to blow up.
