rear seat behind passenger - base moves forward and rear folds down. no prob

larger part behind driver - base refuses to move...not one bit...nope....:evil:

seat back wants to drop ok............

H E L P ..........driving me mad cause;

1. need to shift some stuff
2. cannot stand or tolerate anything being in the back becuase it messes up my boot and makes the rear untidy manic obsession manic obsession etc etc etc

any advice please

Both rear seats have a strap handle that you pull to release the bottom sliding seat.

The large bottom seat will have a strap and when you pull it, it should give a "click". This releases the locking mechanism and the seat should move forward.

Does it do that ?

there is no strap obvious...i see the one on the other side but i think that this one is trapped underneath. cannot get access to locking catch.
