I believe I'm gona need a replacement for this, I hazard a guess that water ingress due to convertible leak after some serious storms has got into the seat and ruined it.

What do I do next. I'm struggling to work out if it's partchment or cream colour (I think it's parchment). It's Trim colour L06 according to the sticker on a 04 convertible 93 aero.
Will none convertible rear seat fit a convertible, will an 07-12 fit?

Find this is proving difficult. Would be cheaper to change the whole interior for a close matching colour if I can find one.

Is it feasible to get it retrimmed?

No only convertible seats will fit as the rear bench is smaller and believe that that are the same as 07+ or facelift

The leather doesn't look worn and may be salvageable. The seat foam may be distorted. Find an auto upholsterer - they may be able to recondition (add oils) and stretch it and add new foam.

You have leather mounting bars detached from either leather or frame.
Find auto upholsterer, they can restore mounting bars to leather or frame.

After waiting nearly 4 years for the seat covers to become available for L06 trim I got an email 2 weeks ago and order the bottom front covers as mine were very bad. Installed them over the weekend and they look great. Did both Driver and Passenger bottom covers. I would just order a new rear seat cover and foam if needed and be done with it. Can get the rear bottom for about $182 direct from sweeden just came available 2 weeks ago. L06 Trim Rear Bottom Seat Cover Bottom Seat Cushion

How do you replace these without tearing up the foam? aren't there metal frames holding it in place?

Just undo the fabric from the sides, mostly plastic clips, from what I remember and them the foam and cover should just come off, just be careful with all the connected wires and remove the zip ties as required. Remove the cover by cutting the hog rings.

As Saab9-3ss mentioned the covers are held on mostly by plastic clips. Removing the seats completely from the vehicle is recommended and is how I did both front seats.
You have to remove 6 total bolts to get the seat out of the car. 2 in the front 4 in the back.

Move the seat forward as far as it will go and remove 2 bolts on right track and 2 bolts on left track.

Move seat all the way back remove 1 bolt on right track and 1 bolt on left track.

CAUTION:
Take your time with this step as you can easily strip the star head and make for a difficult time getting the bolt removed.
Ask me how I know!!!!

Tip seat forward and unplug the main harness plug under seat and remove seat from car.
Remove all the plastic covers on both sides of seats then start to unclip bottom seat cushions.
A few screws need to be removed to completely release the leather from the seat frame and a few zip ties also.

Last 3 plastic clips have to be un-clipped by reaching between the back seat support and bottom seat cushion then the bottom seat cushion will pop out.
Then you have to cut the hog tie rings and remove the old cover from the cushion.

Then do the steps in reverse.
You will need Hog Tie Pliers and rings to get the new leather attached back to the cushion. Hog Tie Pliers and Rings
Both seats took me about a day to take out and put back in but worth the time and effort in my opinion.

I hope this helps!
Good Luck!

Wow I hadn't checked the post for a while. The upholsterer said he couldn't do it. This is an absolute gem of a reply. Thankyou so much.

I might see if I can find a more respectable upholstery and buy the cover and see if they can do it.

Damn those covers and cushions are only in the US. Struggling to find anything in Europe. At least I have the parts numbers.
Do you know what colour L06 is? Is it parchment and black brown. Is it beige and black?
