The top portion of my rear defroster hasn't been working for some time now, and I've decided that I need to do something about it. The majority of the rear window is cleared, except there is a top quarter or so (including the one that goes into the brake light) I would say, which is on a different grid alltogether and doesnt work.

I've checked the area for any sort of breaks in the line and can't find any. The lines at the far left side however run past a panel which blocks my view, so I guess it could be something in there. Unfortunately the panel has airbag on it, so I'm nervous to pull it off. Does anyone know if its posisble to take the panel off and would that be risky with the airbag right there?

Or is there a possibility that the seperate grid would have a different fuse?

thanks in advance!
