Rear Console Cigarette Lighter Outlet

Ok. Got what might be some weird questions, but I’m hoping this board has some answers. So, here goes... I have a 2001 9-5 and I’d like to remove cigarette lighter from the rear center console. I don’t want to disconnect it. I want to use it, but have it reside under the console itself instead of mounted next to the rear seat heater button. How does it attach to the console and is it a fairly straightforward process to unattach it? Is there anything tricky in accomplishing this? Tools? Second, is there a cigarette outlet spacer I can purchase to cover the then empty hole so I don’t have a hole in my rear center console? I appreciate everyone’s help and feedback! Thanks!
