We have had ours ('08 SportCombi) and struggle to get 18mpg, whatever we're young and its fun as hell to drive. Although my '02 9-3 SE with a stage one can range from 18-30 but thats 0.8l and 2 cylinders away
The Aero is a little faster than the Viggen but not by much. (.3 on the quarter and 2 mph) but that on the 91 octane tune. The Aero is also more consistent.
The Viggen is faster than the 2.0T, no question about that.
I think you cant compare the Viggen to the 2.0T stock for stock, so tuned at the same level, the Viggen will be faster. The B235R in the Viggen is more brutal, not as smooth.
For me, the 2 tuner have made an EXCELLENT job. My Viggen have always run strong with the JZW tune and my Aero seem to be awsome with the V-Tuner. The only think i prefer with the V-Tuner is the possibility of upgrade because of the HP Tuner software but this is not applicable for the 2.0T, only the V6.
Looking on Crutchfield, they state that they don't recommend replacing the Bose stereo because you'll lose some safety features. I'm not sure what they're referring to, but I'm guessing the reverse proximity tones when you back up? Anyone?
My 2004 Saab 9-3 has been parked for a month now. I went out one day to turn on my car and the key wouldn't turn and the display read "Steering Lock Malfunction". So over the course of a days we checked the battery, cleaned the ISM, changed the ISM, and checked all the fuses. We decided to...
I have what looks to be the rare-ish (only 3 other threads about it on the forum)

It will will run fine occasionally, then go into a rough limp-home kind of mode.
I've read that the cause...
I am new to the Saab Central and to Saab stories all together... lol
I am a big ecotec fan and picked up a 2010 9-3 2.0T for $3k, 227k miles but one owner and garage kept.
Anyway when i first got it (Jan 2019) I noticed if i held the peddle down in high gear (when i have should been...
My 2007, 70K mileage, Saab 9-3 throws a P0300 code. The engine runs very rough at idle time. If I press the gas pad little bit, then the engine runs much smoother. The engine runs fine if car is running until it stops. So far, I have done following things, changed all 4 coils, cleaned/changed...
