Hi guys
The Mrs has a 07 9-3 estate with a slight annoying issue
Randomly every now and again the radio emits a constant high pitched noise from the speakers - Goes off when the radio is switched off and you can turn it up and down by the radio volume control
Its a very loud noise not just a background noise - comes from all speakers and completely kills any music
This was happening with the factory head unit how ever I swapped the head unit out for a Kenwood DAB unit from her old car at the weekend and it is still doing it
Not been able to find a trigger for it yet - starts at random times, nothing plugged into unit via AUX or USB, does not start when you turn anything else on or off in the car
Once it starts it will keep going for a few hours - even turning car off and on again does not stop it
Pushing every button on the radio and dash one by one does not stop it
Any ideas before she goes insane lol
