So i changed my saab 93 2003 ICM3 to ICM2 because ICM3 was broken. Now lately i discovered i dont have the rain snesor menu in my SID. But my rain sensor kinda works but it starts to wipe really fast or sometimes doesnt start to wipe. Is this because ICM2 and would switching back to ICM3 work?

No. I thought it doesnt need reprogramming when going from ICM3 to lower ICM.

You NEED to reprogram ICM with TECH2.

From what i gathered when going from ICM2 -> ICM3, you don't necessarily need to reprogram for the ICM to work. However, the previous car's features would be all the new ICM knows.
Reprogramming ensures your car's features are know by the new ICM.

Okay. So lil update i tried to attach my old ICM3 to my car. Now sid and all instrument lights not working and my clinate display is showing temp in fahrenheit instead of celsius. This ICM3 is the ICM that was originally on this car before i switched to ICM2 fee years ago. (I switched to ICM2 cause radio problems but it came ou the problem was under seat amp)
