Greetings,

The radio in my 98 900 worked just fine several days ago. I took the SID out and played with it attempting to fix it but I didn't in the end. I put everything back in but haven't turned the raio on since then until yesterday. I also replaced the old car battery. The antena goes up but I don't seem to receive anything. I read CODE IN message on the SID... I am at loss. Please help.

You need to enter the four digit security code to re-enable the radio.

And yes !,, I had to learn the hard way with the '93 Passat and also discovered how bad VW service has become...
