I have a 97 900SE and I desperately want an in-dash receiver. I did buy the clarion changer but (from what I have been told) there is a faulty chip in the back of the radio which wreaks havoc with the changer being read by the head unit. I was on GenuineSaab.com and saw that they have a "radio fill kit." If I buy one of these will i be able to fit an Alpine or Pioneer or something of the sort. I love the idea, I just want some feedback as to whether or not it will work for me. Thanks in advance for any help or light you can shed on this product.

Some factory head units have problems with changers, but not most of them. I've had two and they both worked perfectly with several different changers. If you do want to go with an aftermarket unit, then yes, the fill kit from Taliaferro Saab is just what you need.

i received mine from them last week or so

fit really well... had to remove the factory metal harness to fit everything tightly. The wiring harness that came with it matched right up to my Sony head.
