So when The right read door is opened the radio cuts out, this also happens when turning left, but only if the indicator on the dash says the rear door is open. I've disconnected the door button so the car thinks the door is closed all the time, and it still does it when I turn left.

Also the alarm has been going off randomly since this started. I'm starting to think there is a bad ground somewhere causing this to all happen. I know for the door button to show the door open it needs to be grounded, so something is grounding when I turn left, or on a bumpy road. Any ideas?

figured it out, the right rear speaker wire was rubbing on the body and had worn through and was shorting out. moved it a little and taped it up, all it well.

soooo

what is that box with about 300 wires coming out of it in the pass rear of the car behind the faux wall in the trunk? onstar stuff?

The wires are possibly for the optional 5 cd changer? 'False' floor' in the carpeting is for the sound deadening I believe.
