HELP!!!! disconnected the battery and the radio does not come on the problem is that the message on the sid is not code in it is 1246??? also my sunroof opens but wont close using the switch do I have to buy a new switch?. I looked in other forums with no luck thanks in advance

if you still have your manual look in that under the radio antitheft section for info on clearing the radio. i forget what exactly it is, but you hold down some combination of buttons to clear the previous code and get another shot.

about the sunroof, my guess would be a new switch, but i don't take my word for it.

These are the instructions I followed on my car:

Press and hold the "BAND" switch until CODE IN appears.
Re-enter code. Security system allows three consecutive tries.
After three tries, code entry is locked out for an hour before you can try again ONCE. Then locked out for an hour again.
(Disconnecting power from the radio does not reset the one hour timer.)
