Hi all, I have this weird problem in my 1989 Saab 9000 in that my radio starts too static when I push on the brake? Has anyone had a similar problem? In addition, the radio is stock and requires a special tool to remove it. I do not have the tool, but it looks like a piece of wire in the picture. Has anyone made the tool or are they difficult to find?

Thanks Steve

Not sure about the static, but the radio removal tools can be had at walmart. Look in the automotive section near where they have the various head-unit adaptor plugs. They are just horse-shoe shaped wire with a flat end that will hook when you apply sideways pressure and then pull out. Usually takes a little while to get it right.
