quick tire question

is it ok to go from the original size of 215/55/16 to a larger 225/55/16?
i am shopping for new all seasons, specifically continental extreme contacts.

any advice? i make frequent snowboarding trips from uconn to vermont.

Try Nokian WR's....

The new WR G2 is pretty awesome. Amazing for snow traction too. I just got a set put on their asymetrical design makes for a smooth ride. Now just to try them in the snow.

anyone know the stock rim width?

The stock rim width is 6.5". They'll probably fit but your speedometer will be off a bit because of the larger sidewall.

Why do you want to go wider? Narrower tires are usually better in snow.
