I am trying to take off the black thing on the top of the front windshield, it seems it vibrates alot with music and the road, and it is very annoying, this is my only rattle does anyone know how to get it off, it is on top og the front windshield behind the mirror. Thanks

Do you have rain-sensing wipers? It may be the sensor. If so, the cover you describe may be the cover for the sensor.
I think you just pry it off from the bottom.

Use a sharp plastic tool so you don't scratch anything.

Before you pry it off, you may just want to try working a little bit of foam in with a putty knife. This won't hurt anything, and you will at least be able to tell if you are on the right track. If you are lucky, it may stop the noise.
