Whats the going rate for a top nick mot'd 99T nowadays? I much prefer this to my proper job, and could probably churn one out every couple of weeks if i tried

No I haven;t! Still in the boot of Blu'y although should be coming out today

oh, by the way, the crank from that engine is scrap. All the shells are down to the backing metal in places, and the main bearings have worn grooves in the crank itself It's already 0.5mm undersize.

i wonder if the guy didnt do the rebuild very well cus the pistons looks pritty dam good didnt they

It certainly had a lot done to it - rebored, crank ground etc. but something went very wrong! The pistons did indeed look almost mint.
