So, I got a craigslist 9-5 Aero w/ only 64k for $7k w/ a known by-pass valve issue. I fixed that and all seemed well for a day or two, then the Speedo went to zero all the dummy lights came on :(. So, I sent the Control unit to BBA Reman. but they said that the gold as well as the silver leads had failed and the unit was not serviceable:cry:. They are currently sending out another unit (still w/ lifetime waranty) but it will need programed to the car. I called the dealer and they are going to get back to me if they are willing. My question is, if they will program the unit should I install the BBA Reman. one before taking it to the dealer or, leave it off? and if they won't, does anybody know a decent Independent Shop on Oahu, HI that can do it? Thanks!
