I have a date witht the dealer tomorrow and have some weeping around the power steering pump cap. When I check the fluid the level seems good and the colour is normal.

Does anyone know if there was a TSB released for the power steering pump problems many of these cars had. If so please send it to me. I did a search but TSB is to short to be included with "power steering TSB".

Strangely enough I just was looking under my hood and noticed fluid around the ps cap as well. It was hard to tell but the level looked good when I took the cap off. Seems a little loose though. Perhaps the tech spilled some fluid when topping off or something.

Just got the car back and they replaced the pump without any problems. There isn't a TSB about it, however my tech told me it is common knowledge. He also mentioned he hasn't see a pump failure with the new pumps now available.

i had to replace my PS pump..

The PS seal worn out. (By the way the power steering pump is Cam driven)
Engine oil seeped into the resviour, and appeared as if someone overfilled the PS resivour.
The engine oil seeped into the resivour and displaced the Powersteering fluid.
