My 2003 9-3 2.2 TID has a power steering leak.
This may seem like a silly question but is there a common place where the 9-3s develop PAS leaks

the only thing on here to do with the pas is the internal seal going on the pump,allowing engine oil to leak into the reservior..

It is a Saab. Everything leaks. My power steering reservoir is also leaking. A new one is on order.

I was hoping it would be a hose or a pipe.
Cant get the car up on a ramp till Monday

If thats the case then thats not so good, i asked saab for a price on a new pump for my 2.2, £150 which was fine until they told me they cant actually get hold of any... tried several other independants who all said the same. Visited vauxhall, they hadnt a clue which pump it was but the ones they could find were £850quid....sod it, my steering can keep leaking!

Very strange
The power steering has stopped leaking overnight
Had the car on the ramp today with a grease monkey frantically turing the wheel lock to lock with the undertray off and not even a drop.
Yesterday I had a puddle on my drive and the fluid was surging up in resevoir without even touching the steering wheel
