my car is a 1990 saab 900 turbo spg.

so my check engine light is on again...i ran some seafoam through the car and it actually cleaned up a lot of junk in it and turned off the check engine light. it stopped smoking :) and it idles much smoother :) overall an improvement in performance.

so i took the car out for a drive and what it does is, it raps up real fast to like 5 -6 rpm's in 1st gear, but then all the gears after it are restricted to go up to about 4 grand on the rpm's....... right in the middle of my boost! ughhh! it feels like a governer....but no way there could be one on this car.

the real problem is that the check engine light turned back on. now does this mean my injectors are bad? or just some part of the fuel delivery system?

any help would be great.

I would check the air mass meter, too. Do a board search -- plenty of information.
