what kind of piggy back or stand alone systems are there for a classic 900?

i want to change to a map sensor instead of Air mass meter so i can put a blow off valve and not have run rich.

but if there is something affordable out there i am very interested.

you shouldn't have to change a thing to put a BOV on your 87 SPG. I ran a BOV for several years on my 87 SPG then I put it on my 88 when the 87 had to be put to rest due to rust. Presently the BOV is on a 87 900t w/o any issues!

Going with a piggy back ECU or stand alone ECU will cost you quite a bit of $$$ & if adding a BOV is your only concern/reason for adding thie ECU I wouldn't do it, just add a BOV!

If all you want to do is run a BOV then just buy one of the units which are suitable for running on a car fitted with an AMM. Forge and Bailey both produce suitable units.

You should only really be looking at changing the fuel system once the car is tuned beyond its original capabilities.
