Any of them will affect your warranty if you have a complete failure, are not able to reset to factory tuning, and they catch it. People just like the "sneaky" aspect of it and the price ... but no, to date, BSR is the only company that offers this type of device for our cars.

Anything stage 3 or higher requires special tunes to accomodate the changed hardware. Reportedly, the car will not run right with the hardware changes and a "factory tune" ... so in order to "return to stock" (when using stage 3 or higher) you would need to swap out the hardware again ...

Stage 2 just adds a cat-back exhaust, I think, this should work fine with the factory tune and not have any impact on your warranty by itself.

Several people have reviewed it and said it "may" give a "slight" increase in throttle response/spool-up, but not anything worth getting excited about. The most consistently agreed upon difference is the increase in the level of noise that can be heard from the turbo. If you wanna hear your "Psssssst" and "Ka-CHOOO" more then go for it, but from evey post I read, you shouldn't expect any big difference in performance.

Not meaning to be rude, but could one of the mods or somebody please fix the FAQ link in this forum...

Brian
And if so please write in that faq that:
1. If you do a PPC tuning and then choose to go back to normal:
THE SAAB DEALER WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THAT YOUR CAR HAS BEEN TUNED.
2. The PPC is not a tool developed to defraud car manufacturers.

that's in reference to the air filter correct, not the PPC? I would think going from 175 to ~210bhp that you would notice a small performance increase?

I would expect the performance increase would be similar in terms of in gear accelleration to the Aero. I guess take off might even be better than an Aero given the smaller turbo spooling up quicker.

I would look at Aero performance figures as a rough guide, but am not speaking from experience.
