Long time Saab owner who just landed a beauty of a 97 9000 CS 5sp. Runs like a dream but lacks the punch of my old '92 9000T. Been working on my 9000's for a while (even fixed the dreaded TCS/limp home) but have never dealved into performance mods.

Does anyone have any advice on how to juice up the LPT at a reasonable cost?

Would appreciate any leads/advice.

You can get an ECU off a CSE. The turbo's are both Garrets. check out the Maptun or ElkParts or http://www.saabcentral.com/techhelp/performance_tuning.php

I'm looking to get a stage 2 this summer on my 95 9000 cs

Add a 3" downpipe and cat, K&N drop-in air filter, ECU upgrade and you are good to go. I'm assuming your 1995 LPT has an intercooler and BPC valve on the radiator, if not you need to add these from a junkyard donor.

I'm pretty sure I do. I was told all the 95 9000cs lpt's came with intercoolers. someone correct me if I'm wrong. Does anyone have a picture of theirs?

From 1996 on the 2.0 and I think from 1994 on the 2.3.

Ron; try BSR, Speedparts or Maptun for the ECU.

The one's from BSR and Speedparts definitely come with the APC solenoid and pipework you require.
