Hey Everybody,

I am planning my reassembly and I can not find the torque for the bolts holding on the perforated disc. It is the part in step 2 here:

http://www.saabcentral.com/~munki/technical/engine/mechanical/engine_assy.htm

Would these bolts fall into the "Other Bolts" in the "Tightening Torques" of the WIS?

Should these bolts have loctite or anything on them or just clean & dry?

Thanks,

Stephen

If you're asking about the "aperture disk" just in front of the flywheel, isn't it held in position by the flywheel and flywheel bolts? The flywheel bolts are secured with "red nut lock strong" (I assume Loctite) and torqued to 59.s ft/lbs... Ron

Ron,

No it has its own bolts holding it on. Remember that the crank comes through the end plate shown on step 7 of the link above.

There is actually a bearing cap between this disk and the end plate.

If I remember correctly these were t20 torx bolts.
