Have seen several threads and some Google searches about 99-03 9-5 PCV update kits.

I have an 05 9-5 2.3t. It has the connection on the side of the dipstick tube, but nothing connected to it, and no other open connection.

I did the glove test and it sucks it into the tube.

Should I just cap the connection off?

I understand the PCV problem was resolved for good In the ‘04 engines. Prior, there were 5 different iterations of the PCV system on the 9-5 (in Europe anyway), hence the different retrofit kits. I’ll have a look at mine later, but the connection on the dipstick tube might just be left over from previous versions.

they are not really capped, there is simply no connection between the the connector and the oil dipstick tube. You can try to put a flashlight/smartphone in front of the connection and check wheather you see the light in the dipstick tube. Or try to put a screwdriver in.

Verified that with a small “zip-tie”.
Hole does not go all the way through.

Thanks for the info.
